V.SYSTEMS: a blockchain for payments, tokenisation and decentralised apps
V.SYSTEMS (V Systems) is an open-source public blockchain for building decentralised apps and for real-world uses such as fintech payments, e-commerce, gaming and the tokenisation of real-world assets. It runs on its own network with a consensus called Supernode Proof-of-Stake. VSYS is the native coin, and the V Systems team offers enterprise services alongside the public network.
Key Aspects of V.SYSTEMS
1. How it works
Supernode Proof-of-Stake (SPoS) is a staking-based consensus in which a set of supernodes produce blocks and process transactions. The project designed it to help resist 51% attacks, where one party gains control of most of the network.
2. Smart contract templates
Instead of writing contracts from scratch, developers can use ready-made, composable templates for common needs such as tokens, NFTs and payments, so they can launch without writing smart contract code.
3. What the VSYS coin is used for
VSYS is used for staking, for paying transaction fees, and for creating and running smart contracts on the network.
4. Services for businesses
Alongside the public network, V Systems provides consulting, technology integration and maintenance for businesses, and tools for building DAOs.
