tokenbot: the CLANKER token of the Clanker token launcher
tokenbot, traded under the ticker CLANKER, is the token linked to Clanker, a protocol that lets anyone create a new cryptocurrency token on Base and other Ethereum-compatible chains without writing code. People can launch tokens on the clanker.world site or by tagging the @clanker bot on Farcaster, a decentralized social network. The CLANKER token is an ERC-20 token on Base, a layer 2 network that runs on top of Ethereum.
Key Aspects of tokenbot
1. How Clanker Works
Clanker deploys ERC-20 tokens that can be traded straight away, with a liquidity pool created automatically at launch. Creators can launch them through the clanker.world deploy wizard, through a post on Farcaster, or through Clanker's API and TypeScript SDK, and can pre-configure a token to launch later.
2. Creator Rewards
Each token created through Clanker earns its creator rewards from trading on that token. For tokens launched through the Farcaster bot, the rewards go by default to the creator's Farcaster-verified address.
3. Launch Features
Clanker includes vaults to lock part of a token's supply, airdrops to distribute tokens to a community at launch, and the option for the creator to buy some tokens right at launch.
4. Droids
A Droid is an AI agent that can be launched with a token. It has its own Farcaster account and a personality the creator designs, and its computing costs are paid from a share of the token's liquidity rewards.
5. The CLANKER Token
CLANKER has a total supply of 1 million tokens. The clanker.world site shows how much CLANKER has been bought and burned.
