GoPlus Security: a security layer that checks tokens, wallets and transactions
GoPlus Security provides security services for crypto users and apps: it checks tokens, addresses, websites and transactions for scams and other risks before people interact with them. Wallets, exchanges and other tools build its checks into their products. GoPlus launched its GPS token in early 2025; it is an ERC-20 token on Base.
Key Aspects of GoPlus Security
1. How it works
The Security API answers questions such as whether a token contract has dangerous functions, whether an address is linked to scams, whether a site is phishing, or whether a token shows rug-pull signs (a team draining funds). Transaction simulation previews what a transaction will do before the user signs it.
2. Products for users and builders
For users, GoPlus offers an app and a browser extension that monitor transactions, plus a quick token check. For builders, SafeToken Locker locks tokens and liquidity, the GoPlus Security Module adds a security layer to blockchains, and dedicated tools check AI agents for threats.
3. What the GPS token is used for
GPS pays for security: users pay a small security fee for transaction protection, businesses pay for security data, and projects pay to use the SafeToken protocol. Operators and data providers stake GPS to take part in the network, and holders can stake or delegate it.
4. Token design
The maximum supply is fixed at 10 billion GPS, with allocations for the community, ecosystem, team and investors released on a set schedule.
5. Who it is for
GoPlus serves everyday users who want a warning before signing something risky, and the wallets, exchanges and developers who build those checks into their products.
GoPlus Security's Milestones
GoPlus published its GPS tokenomics in January 2025. In March 2025 it introduced the GoPlus Security Module as a decentralised security layer for Web3, in July 2025 it set up a security fund of 500 million GPS, and in August 2025 it released a Transaction Simulation API.
