GamerCoin: the token of the GamerHash computing network
GamerCoin (GHX) is the ecosystem token of GamerHash, a platform where people earn rewards by sharing their computer's spare computing power. GamerHash connects gamers' graphics cards (GPUs) to a distributed network that processes AI tasks. The platform is operated by CoinAxe Ltd, based in Malta. GHX is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, first deployed in December 2020, with bridged versions on BNB Chain and Solana.
Key Aspects of GamerCoin
1. How GamerHash works
Users install the GamerHash AI desktop app, which assigns AI tasks to their hardware automatically when the graphics card would otherwise sit idle. Earnings depend on the hardware and on how long the app runs.
2. GamerHash AI
Besides sharing computing power, the GamerHash AI app includes local AI tools, such as video generation, that run on the user's own computer.
3. What GHX is used for
GHX can be spent in the GamerHash Store on games, gift cards and vouchers. Holding GHX raises a user's account level, speeds up the collection of GHXP activity points and influences how GPU jobs are allocated. A staking platform lets holders lock GHX in pools for rewards.
4. Points and rewards
GHXP are activity points earned on the platform. During community reward redistributions, GHXP points convert into GHX tokens.
5. One token on several chains
GHX is native to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token and is bridged to BNB Chain (as a BEP-20 token) and Solana (as an SPL token), so holders can use it on the network that suits them.
