Fractal Bitcoin's move in context
Beating the market today
+2.09% in 24 hours against +0.81% for the market as a whole, a gap of 1.3 points. Small gaps like this are common, so they don't point to anything specific.
We compare the last 24 hours with this coin's typical day, from 7 recent days (up to four weeks). We only count exchanges we read on both days, so an exchange we've just added doesn't look like extra trading. This describes trading, not where the price goes next.
$564.45K traded in the last 24 hours on the exchanges we read, close to its usual day.
The price of each exchange's last trade, read in the past few minutes, in US dollars or dollar stablecoins; markets with little trading are left out. Gaps under 1% are everyday: fees and the gap between buying and selling prices take up most of them.
Fractal Bitcoin's last prices on 4 exchanges we read are within 0.85% of each other, so the price above isn't one exchange's quirk.
Part of a slide
−10.8% over 7 days and −16.7% over 30 days: the recent move continues the monthly direction.

About Fractal Bitcoin
Fractal Bitcoin: a faster blockchain built from Bitcoin's own code
Fractal Bitcoin is a blockchain that uses Bitcoin's native code but confirms a block every 30 seconds instead of about every 10 minutes, to extend what Bitcoin-style assets can be used for. FB is its native coin. Fractal Bitcoin's mainnet produced its first block in September 2024, and changes to the network are proposed through Fractal Improvement Proposals.
Key Aspects of Fractal Bitcoin
1. Built on Bitcoin's design
Fractal runs Bitcoin's own code without extra data layers, so tools and token standards from Bitcoin carry over. It supports Bitcoin token protocols such as BRC-20 and Runes, which create tokens on top of Bitcoin transactions, using the same mechanism as Bitcoin itself.
2. Two kinds of mining
Fractal's blocks come from merged mining, where Bitcoin miners secure Fractal with the same computing work they already do for Bitcoin, and from permissionless mining open to anyone.
3. Indexing and staking
Indexers are services that read the chain and keep track of token balances such as BRC-20. Since FIP-101, block rewards are shared between merged mining, permissionless mining and indexing. FB holders can stake their coins to an indexing service through Taproot scripts, so the coins stay under their own private keys.
4. The FB coin
FB is the native coin of Fractal: it pays for transactions on the network and is the reward for miners, indexers and the holders who stake with indexers.
5. Open governance
Changes to the network are written up as Fractal Improvement Proposals (FIPs), an open proposal framework for the Fractal ecosystem, published on GitHub.
Fractal Bitcoin's Milestones
Fractal Bitcoin's mainnet produced its first block on 9 September 2024. FIP-101, the Fractal Standard Indexing Service, was proposed in December 2025 and activated at block 1,500,000 in February 2026.

- We show a market cap only once the coins in circulation are confirmed by a source we read ourselves, such as an exchange's published figures or the project's own. Until then a coin has no market cap or rank here.
