Concordium's move in context
Lagging the market today
−0.10% in 24 hours against +0.79% for the market as a whole, a gap of 0.9 points. Small gaps like this are common, so they don't point to anything specific.
We compare the last 24 hours with this coin's typical day, from 11 recent days (up to four weeks). We only count exchanges we read on both days, so an exchange we've just added doesn't look like extra trading. This describes trading, not where the price goes next.
$76.04K traded in the last 24 hours on the exchanges we read, close to its usual day.
The price of each exchange's last trade, read in the past few minutes, in US dollars or dollar stablecoins; markets with little trading are left out. Gaps under 1% are everyday: fees and the gap between buying and selling prices take up most of them.
Concordium's last prices on 3 exchanges we read are within 0.34% of each other, so the price above isn't one exchange's quirk.
Part of a slide
−6.4% over 7 days and −19.7% over 30 days: the recent move continues the monthly direction.

About Concordium
Concordium: a blockchain with identity built in
Concordium is a public layer 1 blockchain (a base network, like Ethereum) that builds identity into the protocol itself. Accounts are linked to identities checked by approved identity providers, while zero-knowledge proofs, a way to prove a fact such as being over 18 without revealing the data behind it, keep personal details private. The project was founded in 2018, is supported by the Concordium Foundation, and its mainnet went live in 2021.
Key Aspects of Concordium
1. The identity layer
Because identity sits at the protocol level, apps on Concordium can check that a user is a verified person, or meets a condition like age or residency, without collecting personal data themselves. Concordium applies the same idea to AI agents: its Agent Registry lets developers register agents so their actions can be traced to an accountable person or company.
2. What the CCD token is used for
CCD pays transaction fees for transfers, smart contract calls, protocol-level token transactions and Agent Registry operations. It is staked or delegated to secure the network, used to vote in governance, and used for payments.
3. Fees set in euros
Transaction fees are set in euro terms, so the cost of using the network stays predictable when crypto prices move. With sponsored transactions, an app or operator can pay fees on a user's behalf, so users and agents do not need to hold CCD.
4. Protocol-Level Tokens
Protocol-Level Tokens (PLTs) are tokens built into the protocol rather than created through smart contracts. They support minting and burning by a governance account, allow and deny lists, and pausing, which suits regulated assets such as stablecoins.
5. Security
Concordium uses proof of stake: validators lock CCD to produce and confirm blocks, and other holders can delegate CCD to them and share in the rewards.
Concordium's Milestones
2018: Concordium was founded. 2021: the mainnet went live with identity verification at the protocol level. August 2025: Concordium released node software for protocol version 9, which added Protocol-Level Tokens. February 2026: node releases for protocol version 10 added sponsored transactions.
