AirTor Protocol's move in context
Lagging the market today
−1.08% in 24 hours against +0.73% for the market as a whole, a gap of 1.8 points. Small gaps like this are common, so they don't point to anything specific.
We compare the last 24 hours with this coin's typical day, from 11 recent days (up to four weeks). We only count exchanges we read on both days, so an exchange we've just added doesn't look like extra trading. This describes trading, not where the price goes next.
$44.25K traded in the last 24 hours on the exchanges we read, close to its usual day.
The price of each exchange's last trade, read in the past few minutes, in US dollars or dollar stablecoins; markets with little trading are left out. Gaps under 1% are everyday: fees and the gap between buying and selling prices take up most of them.
AirTor Protocol's last prices on 2 exchanges we read are within 0.58% of each other, so the price above isn't one exchange's quirk.
Part of a slide
−1.3% over 7 days and −34.4% over 30 days: the recent move continues the monthly direction.

About AirTor Protocol
ANyONe Protocol: a decentralised privacy network run by independent relays
ANyONe Protocol runs the Anyone Network, a decentralised, encrypted network that sends internet traffic through several independent relays so that no single point sees both who a user is and what they request. Its ANYONE token is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum and rewards the people who run the network. The project started in 2023 under the name ATOR Protocol and was renamed ANyONe Protocol in 2024, when ATOR tokens were swapped one for one for the new ANYONE token.
Key Aspects of ANyONe Protocol
1. How it works: onion routing
Traffic travels through multi-hop tunnels, called circuits, made of relays run by different operators. Each packet is encrypted in several layers, a method known as onion routing: every relay removes one layer and only learns the previous and next stop, so no single relay can link a user to their request.
2. Relays and rewards
Relays are the computers that encrypt and forward traffic, and anyone can run one. Each relay's rewards start from its consensus weight, a bandwidth-based score set by the network's authorities, and also depend on its uptime, its type and its location.
3. What the ANYONE token is used for
ANYONE is paid out as rewards to relay operators, and software relays lock ANYONE to register for rewards. Holders with enough staked or delegated ANYONE can become network authorities, and the tokenomics also cover peer-to-peer payments of ANYONE to relay operators and the protocol.
4. The Anyone Router
The Anyone Router is a hardware device that sends all the traffic of a home network, and every device on it, through the Anyone Network. Hardware relays do not need to lock tokens and share a reward pool reserved for them.
5. Who it is for
The network serves people who want more privacy online, operators who contribute bandwidth and earn rewards, and developers who add privacy features to their apps with the Anyone SDK.
ANyONe Protocol's Milestones
The project began in 2023 as ATOR Protocol. In July 2024 it completed its rebrand to ANyONe Protocol, and ATOR was swapped for the new ANYONE token at a ratio of one to one.
